David Icke

David Icke is a person who never fails to amaze me.  I am not sure what title to call him, sci-fi writer, philosopher, scientist, or what.  He explains all sorts of wild theories about the way that we perceive the universe.  In one talk he says that Saturn is a giant antennae that beams a reality into our minds.  He points out that a lot of the symbols we see around us here on earth represent Saturn, like the internet explorer symbol and black cubes apparently.  He also thinks that life existed on mars a couple thousand years ago, but something went horribly wrong and they blew themselves up.  I think he is interesting to listen to even if it is just for a laugh.

The Nature of Reality....

First post for me. Last night I watched the Matrix Reloaded. I also watched the Animatrix. For anyone who doesn't know what the Animatrix is, it's a series of 9 short animations dealing with the matrix, all in different styles. My favorite of them is called "The Second Renaissance", which explains how the machines came to be, and what happened to the human race. I think it's interesting because it actually sounds like a plausible outcome for the future of humanity to me. The fact that it shows that robots can evolve is pretty cool. I mean when you think about it why wouldn't an artificial intelligence be able to evolve. You might say it's because they are just made of metal, and programming for thought, but humans are not so different. We are made up of very specific materials, and have what could be called "biocircuits" running all through out our body. We have DNA which could be called a programming language. A-T-C-G's are the 4 building blocks for life, robots have 0's and 1's. Our bodies also use electricity to regulate heartbeat, or store memories in the brain, or to move any body part of your body. We are just biorobots. In the book "I Robot" by Isaac Asimov, he talks about how robots could evolve. Random bits of code come together and form new things a robot could do.

Another thing about The Matrix I find very interesting is it's philosophical implications of the definition of reality. What is reality? Is it what you are observing right now? How do you know your not dreaming? Dreams can feel like real life sometimes. In The Matrix, reality is simulated by a computer program, but the brain interprets it like it was real. This is because the brain cannot differentiate between what is real or not. Real is just electrical signals being interpreted by your brain. Which is why a dream can feel so real sometimes. A dream is just electrical signals being interpreted by your brain while sleeping. So how do you the reality your currently experiencing is a dream or actual reality, or what if it's The Matrix! There is no way of telling really, we just have to trust that machines aren't using our bodies for energy!

Waking R.E.M.

I have been meditating for a while with some CDs my mom sent me. I just started a new level and it has had some crazy effects, not really bad, but wierd. I felt aware the whole time but i could feel my eyes moving rapidly, so i didn't want to open them, cause i thought they might fall out. I had this wierd awake vision thing that i made 2 guitar riffs turn into swords and fight each other. And i realized that alot of our daily lives is just wasted resiting, arguing, and reacting to what people say and do instead of keeping it out of your mind. My thinking just happens easier if i dont have my ego to defend, it is much more quiet.

Most Terrorists don't like Obama

I was Thinking and i came up with a reason a U.S. President SHOUD be affiliated with Terrorists! If He were on their side they wouldn't be as much of a threat! But he sadly isn't on their side so they will hate and attack us, which goes perfectly with my Violence philosophy!

There are also some rumors that Hillary Clinton May be Secretary of State, i will not elaborate!

Poem Time!
Elephants were hired as hit men,
To get sick through smoking with the glutton in cyan,
Lo and behold!
The thermal station dug into the heart of an ape pupa,
Showing that vomit never fails,
to squall the cozy underground disco base!
Built among the strata of crescendo,
Come In with us under the doors covered in lilacs.

Bye

Welcome to the mind of Nick

Welcome!, Here i will share my thoughts on whatever my mind wanders to. I am kind of a wanderer physically and mentally, i have lived in California, Scotland, Maine, Virginia, Illinois, and Ohio to name a few. I read tons of books that want to "enlighten" me, but i prefer having no set path.

My most recent philosophical endevor includes lots of violence. I believe in a God who is the love child of Vin Diesel and Chuck Norris, he's got 8 arms and 8 crappy movie deals. If anyone provokes me i will roundkick them in the face, film it, and call it the "Cronicles of Anger."

Yep well thats it for today,
Enjoy
